i am so glad you helped me remember what today is really about as those words were not on frontal of my mind...
what does it mean to really live life today?
how do i know the Spirit of the Lord and find liberty from my many hang-ups...
i know enough about my goals to know that happiness is not my consuming goal but rest and peace is more what i long for as i pursue life and then you really are happy...
i have been shaken to the core this past year about what life is about and what i am giving to it...

happy 4th! full of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness...it cost them and we have it or am I bound to prejudice, contempt, envy...and we know the One who can free us so it will be a happy 4th, right?
